Avocado Shake

Avocado is not common in sweet drinks, but its delicious. Try this shake and you wont regret it.

Avocado Shake Ingredients

  • 4 pods cardamom pods

  • 2 cups cold milk

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and chopped

  • 6 teaspoons white sugar, or to taste

  • 1 pinch salt

How to Make Avocado Shake

  1. Pop cardamom pods open and crush or grind seeds into a powder.

  2. Combine cardamom, milk, avocado, sugar, and salt in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Divide between 2 glasses.

  • 6.10.19 I make smoothies with avocados occasionally, so I was pretty sure that Id like this, and I wasnt wrong. The avocado brings incredible creaminess, but Id suggest that you start out modestly with the sugar. Im not into super sweet these days, so I did cut it back quite a bit to suit my taste, and it was still plenty sweet for me. You always can add more to the blender if you want it sweeter.
